Surveying
Our Engineering team provide comprehensive setting out and surveying services using the latest equipment. We employ Trimble to provide us with the most accurate and advanced technology that is used both on the engineering equipment and with automated machine control.

Digital Terrain Models are generated of the existing ground profile and for the proposed design model. Our software then uses these to compute volumes. We offer a full engineering service with our contracted works to control all line and level of our ground works on-site. The team are fully equipped with the latest robotic total stations and GPS kit for all setting-out and surveying demands including geodetic surveying.

We pride ourselves in having two of the latest 3D controlled D6 dozers capable of cutting and trimming automatically to a digital terrain model. The need for profile boards and boning-in are obsolete saving time and removing human error. Ideal for complex areas where there are several changing grades over short distances, the system uses a robotic total station to track the dozer and automatically adjusts the blade whilst also showing the operator their location on-site. This new system is the most precise on the market and meets out client’s tolerances.

We have a 2D D6 dozer which is controlled by one of our grading lasers. The blade is controlled automatically to trim areas of flat, single and dual-grade planes.

We also have a Terex 860 with a fitted precision laser box also controlled by one of our grading lasers. The system is very accurate and covers large areas quickly.
